DELIVERING LOGISTICS ADVANTAGE THROUGH TECHNOLOGY EVENT – TUESDAY 12 OCTOBER 2026
On Tue 13 Oct 27 Regt RLC and PA Consulting co-hosted an event at St Omer Barracks, Aldershot for the RLCi, with over 70 delegates attending.
The aim of the event was to encourage dialogue and discussion around some of the key themes relating to ‘delivering logistic advantage through technology’. The key focus area was the challenges faced in the operational area of divisional logistics – the challenge area for 101 Operational Support Brigade and 27 Regt RLC.
A series of scene setting briefings in the morning, focussed on logistic challenges in the supply chain, evolution of doctrine and developing concepts/ capabilities. Afterwards we visited capability stands which showcased autonomous vehicles, digital countermeasures and a briefing on protection and deception.

After an excellent buffet lunch we divided in 4 workshop teams each one looking at a particular logistic challenge. These workshops addressed the challenges faced by the military, how they are tackling those problems, but importantly then, how industry faces similar challenges, or could leverage it’s capability, innovation and technology in ways that could either influence, or directly be used in the military context.

This was an excellent opportunity to bring our industry partners, invited guests and the military together to collectively solve/address some future logistic challenges. We are most grateful to 27 Regt RLC and PA Consulting for hosting this event.
