THE RLC INSTITUTION 10TH ANNIVERSAY AWARDS DINNER – 25 NOVEMBER 2025

The RLC INSTITUTION 10th Anniversary Awards Dinner was held at the Officer’s Mess Worthy Down on Tuesday 25 November 2025.  We were delighted to have the opportunity to formally recognise the significant achievements of our industry members, military units and selected service personnel from across the RLC.

We had 117 people attend on the evening which included the senior logisticians from the Navy, RAdm Paul Murphy and from the RAF,  ACdre Eddie Cole.  Entertainment was provided throughout the evening by the Saxophone Quartet of The Band & Bugles of the Rifles, the Royal Logistic Corps Corps of Drums and a Piper from 152 (North Irish) Regiment RLC.

Eight RLC Institution Awards were presented on the evening to:

Award 1 – WO2 Dan Skelly Mentoring Support Award – Sponsored by Lockheed Martin UK and presented by Mr Chris Harrison, Group Managing & Business Development Manager
Award 2 – The Army Catering Training Trust – Industry Professional Development Award – Sponsored by Toll Government & Defence and presented by Col (Retd) Simon Wheelton, Senior VP UK
Award 3 – 17 Port & Maritime Regiment RLC and Associated British Ports – Regional Partnership Award – Sponsored by Unipart Logistics and presented y Maj Gen (Retd) Jerry Ewert-Brooks CB, FDSS Director
Award 4 – Maj Gavin Randell – Award for Best Professional Article in the Review Magazine 2025 – Sponsored by Foreland Shipping Ltd presented by Mr Simon Parker, Managing Director
Award 5 – DHL Mr Andy Miles – Thought Leadership Award – sponsored by Leidos, presented by Maj Gen (Retd) Simon Hutchins OBE, Vice President, MD Logistics and Mission Support, Programme Manager LCST

In addition to the RLC Institution Awards, six Conductor Coin winners were recognised.  A Conductor’s Coin rewards a soldier outside the official Honors & Awards list for work ‘over and above’ that which normally expected of our trade specialists within the RLC.  Conductor Coin were presented by WO1 (Cdr) Daniel Wright.  The winner’s are:
